The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
